The same NMPA-approved CAR-T therapy. A fraction of the US price. One coordinated journey.
CellBridge China helps patients from the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and Australia access chimeric antigen receptor (CAR-T) cell therapy at licensed hospitals in China — for lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma and, as of 2026, certain solid tumors. We coordinate the medical review, the hospital, the visa, the interpreter and the aftercare plan, so your family manages one relationship instead of a dozen.
No obligation. A China-licensed oncology team reviews your pathology and prior treatment history and tells you, in writing, whether you are likely to qualify — usually within 3–5 business days.
Why families are looking at China right now
- ✓China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved more CAR-T cell therapies than any other single regulator — nine products as of late 2026, across CD19, BCMA and CLDN18.2 targets.
- ✓Independent reporting puts total CAR-T treatment cost in China at roughly US$150,000–$230,000, against US$550,000–$850,000 in the United States for the same class of therapy.
- ✓Manufacturing turnaround for a patient's own engineered cells is frequently measured in days, not the many weeks reported at some overseas centers.
- ✓In 2026, China became the first country to approve a CAR-T therapy for a solid tumor (advanced gastric cancer), a treatment option not yet available through this route elsewhere.

Each product below is approved for defined indications and prior-treatment histories — CAR-T is not a universal fallback, and eligibility depends on your specific pathology, prior lines of therapy and current health. Our medical review exists to answer that question honestly before you commit to travel.
Large B-Cell & Follicular Lymphoma
Relapsed or refractory DLBCL, high-grade B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma and mantle cell lymphoma after standard chemoimmunotherapy.
Learn more →Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Relapsed or refractory B-cell ALL in adults and, for one approved product, patients aged 3–21.
Learn more →Multiple Myeloma
Relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma after at least three prior lines of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor and an immunomodulatory drug.
Learn more →Gastric & Solid Tumors
Advanced CLDN18.2-positive gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma — the first CAR-T therapy approved anywhere for a solid tumor.

Eight domestic manufacturers now compete across CD19, BCMA and CLDN18.2 targets, with cell-processing facilities built close to treating hospitals. That competition and proximity — not a lower standard of care — is what has pulled total treatment costs down to a fraction of US pricing. A 2026 analysis in Asia Times by a George Washington University health-policy professor quotes one patient paying under US$300,000 in Shanghai against a US$600,000 quote from a Melbourne hospital for the same therapy class.
We publish our comparison methodology and sources in full on the cost page, because a number you can't check isn't a number you should trust.

|---|---|
| United States | $550,000 – $850,000 |
| United Kingdom / private | $400,000 – $600,000* |
| China (CellBridge China) | $150,000 – $230,000 |
*UK private-pay estimate for comparison purposes; most UK patients access CAR-T through the NHS where it is commissioned, at no direct cost to the patient. Figures are illustrative ranges compiled from public reporting (see Cost & Financing for sources and methodology), not a quotation. Your actual cost depends on diagnosis, product, hospital and length of stay.
Six stages, one coordinator, from your first email to your first scan back home
Record review
Send pathology, imaging and treatment history. A China-licensed hematologist/oncologist gives a written eligibility opinion, typically in 3–5 business days, at no charge.
Treatment plan & quotation
If you qualify, you receive an itemized quotation — therapy, hospitalization, monitoring, interpreter and accommodation — with complications and exclusions stated up front.
Visa & travel
We prepare the hospital invitation letter needed for your China visa application and arrange flights, accommodation and airport transfer for patient and companion.
Workup & apheresis
On arrival: confirmatory tests, any required bridging therapy, and collection of your T-cells (apheresis), typically over 3–5 days.
Manufacturing & infusion
Your cells are engineered at a GMP-certified facility. Most patients wait days, not weeks, before infusion and the inpatient monitoring period that follows.
Recovery & handover home
Before you fly home we prepare a treatment passport — product, batch, complications and monitoring schedule — for your home oncology team, plus a scheduled telemedicine follow-up plan.
What we tell every patient before they book a flight
- !CAR-T therapy carries real risks: cytokine release syndrome, neurological side effects and infection. For some products, lifelong monitoring for secondary cancers is advised. We walk through this in detail before you travel — not after.
- !A clinical response is not guaranteed. We will tell you plainly if a patient is a poor candidate, even if that means recommending against the trip.
- !Continuity of care matters as much as the infusion itself. We insist on a written shared-care handover with your home oncology team before you leave China.
We built this service around the risks the headlines leave out
Press coverage of CAR-T therapy in China has rightly started asking harder questions: are patients getting a clear explanation of the evidence, an independent specialist assessment, and a credible aftercare plan before they travel — or just a remission story and a plane ticket home? We designed our process around that standard, including itemized quotations, a written shared-care agreement, and a multilingual treatment passport that reaches your home clinician before you do.
